Today seemed a bit better. While I only did 813 words, the writing came out a bit easier than it did yesterday, which I was happy about. I’m also really enjoying what I’m working on, so I’m trying not to worry about making it work or not. Just getting the words on the page is the goal, and I know that a two-day track record isn’t saying much, but it’s an accomplishment for me. This brings my total to 1,683 words, so I’m pleased that I can finally say I surpassed the daily word count (even though it took me two days to get there). One of these days I’ll write 1,000 words all in one sitting, and that day will be soon.
